Mbaise People Are Not Destined To Rule In This Political Era As Emeka Ihedioha Breaks Down In Tears. Is This Fate?
Emeka Ihedioha of PDP broke down in tears after Supreme Court nullified his election, declared Senator Hope Uzodinma, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, authentic winner of the 2019 governorship election.
If you have known the history of Imo State you would know that Mbaise man has never being a governor in Imo State except Emeka who broke that jinx as he was declared Imo State Governor in 2019.
That joy and expectations have been cut short again by the Supreme Court judgement of Tuesday January 14 2020 which voided the position of Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo State.
A seven-man panel of the apex court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, unanimously declared HopeUzodinma as winner of the March 9, 2019 governorship election and the validly elected governor of the state.
Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, who read the lead judgment ordered that the certificate of return issued to Ihedioha be immediately withdrawn.
She directed that a fresh certificate of return should be issued to Uzodinma. She also directed that Uzodima must be immediately sworn in as the Governor of Imo State.
Governor Hope Uzodimma will be sworn in today 15 January 2020 in Owerri Imo State.
Emeka meant well for Imo State and the citizens but it has been destined this way.
The few months he sat on the seat of power,he worked marvelously and his good works would be remembered for a long time.
There is Hope for Imo State as Father Mbaka prophesied. Hope is here already. Is that prophecy more of a coincidence or that it has been confirmed?
