THE FEMALE STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITY OF UYO IN AKWAIBOM NIGERIA TAKE TO THE STREET AFTER BEING ATTACKED BY ROBBERS THE SECOND TIME IN 3DAYS
After being attacked 2 consecutive times within the space of 3days,the female students of University of UFO hit the streets to demonstrate and show their anger. They used that medium to call the attention of Nigerians and security agents to intervene and save them from the menace.
It was also gathered that a victim of a previous robbery died some days ago after she was stabbed by the robbers.
“This morning uniuyo’s hostel was robbed again after we were robbed 3days ago.This time, they came with POS to robbed us of our money and a girl was stabbed the last time they came.We decided to protest this morning,we need security and not old men and Gatemen.Uniuyo is not safe again.”
This is heartbreaking. May the security activities be stepped up to protect these innocent citizens.
