Imo State House of Assembly on Wednesday 19th June, 2019 at the floor of the 9th Assembly moved a motion requesting the Governor of Imo State, Hon Emeka Ihedioha to investigate the ownership of Eastern palm University, Ogboko, Ideato South LGA, Imo state Nigeria.
The motion was moved by Hon. Edie Obinna, Aboh Mbaise state constituency, and supported by Hon. Philp Ejiogu, Owerri North state constituency.
Okorocha in the past told Imo citizens that he was relocating Imo State University to Ogboko,
According to the report, the money used to build the infrastructure thereto belongs to the state and the University remains the property of Imo State .
Now that State government has been empowered to investigate every information about this beautiful university, Imo citizens are anxiously waiting for the outcome.
