The fast rising musician Afeez Fashola who goes by the pseudonym Naira Marley was arrested on Friday by the men of Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
The reason for his arrest according to Premium Times is in connection of his habit of defending internet fraudsters ( yahoo boys ).
He was arrested alongside with his friends who among them was another fast rising musician called Zlatan and his real name is Omoniyi Temidayo. Equally two of their friends were quizzed.

Nigerians reacted to the news differently. Some Nigerians commended the prompt act of the EFCC for others to learn that you don’t talk any how you want in the public no matter who you are.

He was later released to go home as he has already done a big time preparation for his birthday.
Frankly it is wrong for a Nigerian musician to openly support internet fraudsters because all these internet frauds done by Nigerians have so much dented the image of our country in the international community. People assume that every Nigeria seen outside the country is a fraudster thereby reducing our images next to nothing. We have millions of Nigerians who are conscientious enough not to engage in crimes. Many youths these days are lazy to work to earn a living. Will we blame the leaders who call them lazy youths?
