A lot has been happening lately in the country Nigeria pertaining the Nigerians arrested for drug offences in Saudi Arabia .The outstanding one above all is the case of Zainab Aliyu who was arrested for drug being found inside one of her bags at the airport in Saudi Arabia . It was reported that a cartel who specialised in planting drugs in people’s bags in Nigeria were responsible.As it was done without her knowing by exchanging her bag.
The Nigerian Government intervened in the matter and finally Zainab Aliyu was released and another victim Ibrahim Abubakar will be released too.
But however a twitter user by name Miriam Shehu allegedly reported that in the Northern part of Nigeria Tramadol is a normal drug that Northern girls abused. Miriam further wrote, “I do not believe anybody dropped Tramadol in Zainab’s bag. Try not to be poor in Nigeria. The rich will always have their way out of any awkward situation “
It sounds too good to believe. Who knows if more digging is made into this allegations, what would be the outcome.
