Speaking with reporters in Markudi on Friday, Governor Ortom of Benue State debunked the rumour that he is planning to leave PDP for APC and warned that those peddling the rumours are mischief makers. He further said. “I have no basis to leave PDP, the party that re-elect me. I am a card -carrying member of this party. I also built this party. I can’t go back to APC. There is no basis for that. There is nothing wrong with me in the party.
The governor warned the rumour mongers who spread the news on social media that he advised Kogi State Governor Bello to leave APC for Accord party to desist from involving his name. “I don’t know anything about Kogi politics and I have never advised Governor Bello about anything. I am tackling my own problem here in Benue and I am yet to even achieve the desired result,how can I jump from here to another State, this is really mischief and I distance myself from such report “
